A TREMENDOUS
battle occurred in arena A3 on Sunday, February 20th between
"The Swarm" and "The
Elites."Members from both sides showed up in full force! The battle went
for 3 hours and 6 minutes with "The Elites" being
the victors in the end. There were bug tentacles and human body parts drifting
all over the arena!
As most are aware,
Arena A3 requires that either the Arachnids take over and occupy Earth or the
Humans occupy and take over Klendathu. Occupation of the opponents planet swung
back and forth the entire 3 hours!!! While Earth was turning red with Arachnid
forces, Klendathu was turning blue with Federal troops.
IT WAS ONE LONG AND
HARD FOUGHT BATTLE ON BOTH SIDES! The tuffest battle "The Elites" have been in since the formation of the
battle group. The entire Elite crew gives "The
Swarm" a hardy and heart felt bug >S< (salute) for the opportunity
in joining them in the battle. This encounter between the two groups will gone
down in SST history archives as one of the greatest battles
ever!
Following the
battle, each side (fed & bug) voted for their opponent to receive the
coveted MVP award. This is one of the biggest honors to receive in the SST
community - Recognition from your opponents. Both sides cast their votes and
the ballots were counted Wednesday. There was a tie for "The Elite" MVP.

An attack by an
Arachnid force (named
"The Apocalypse")
took place near Saturn on January 23rd. "The
Elites" lead by Fleet Admiral Zornstar took on the nasty bug force in
arena A10. There were lots of nasty bugs flying around in our sector killing
fellow citizens left and right!
"The Elites" repelled the bug force in the first three
matches in arena A10. The battle was dubbed "The Rescue of Mickey Mouse", where "The
Elites" held "The Apocalypse" fearless
leader Mickey Mouse captive. The battles were hard and fast with limbs from
both sides floating all over the galaxy! Carnage was
everywhere!!!
All three
battles went down to the wire. As most are aware, arenas A5 & A10 is where
the side that gets 50 kills first wins. "The
Apocalypse" was not able to rescue Mickey Mouse this time, but a
re-match is on the horizon.
Following the
battle, each side (fed & bug) voted for their opponent to receive the
